Job Description  :
The BBIBA will be responsible for analyzing, documenting, and building implementation plans to improve the completeness, accuracy, and sustainability of the bank’s CMDB (Configuration Management Database) processes, work instructions and technical activities. This will be done in compliance with the information technology infrastructure library (ITIL) V3 framework. This role is required to document the bank’s current CMDB processes, tools, and staff responsibilities and to work with the Bank to define a secure future state, identify gaps based upon the existing state, and design a roadmap to remove the identified process and technical gaps. Maintain precise documentation and accurate usage of the CMDB.  Assist in defining and registering of configuration items (CIs); the appropriate level of attributes, and relationships required to support IT Service Management (ITSM) processes
Job Duties:
§  Perform a system audit of IT operation and technical development practices associated with the maintenance and usage of the Bank’s CMDB to ensure data quality. 
§  Reconcile the CMDB data when exceptions are noted between CMDB, discovery information, and other authoritative production data repositories. 
§  Document current, define future, and identify gaps in processes for gathering, populating, using, and maintaining CMDB data. 
§  Ability to develop SQL queries and reports for management on KPIs to improve the process effectiveness, efficiency, and data accuracy.
§  Integrates/supports the Bank’s ITSM System Administration Team.
§  Works closely with IT operation and technical development staff and management to establish business requirements for the CMDB.
§  Produce a roadmap and implementation plan for implementing the improved Configuration Management processes.
§  Recommend robust configuration management procedures, standards, and automated tools for ensuring the data quality of the bank’s CMDB is sustained over time.
§  Ensure ITSM and CMDB alignment with ITIL v3 framework.
§  Liaise and work with external partners and third party suppliers whenever necessary
§  Communicate project status to management and client on regular basis
§  Attend customer meetings, kick-off meetings, configuration meetings, and production meetings as needed.
Job Requirements
§  Experience in hardware and software asset and configuration management as well as knowledge of ITIL service management processes. 
§  Experience with one or more CMDB commercial product such as BMC, Service Now, or a similar industry solution.
§  Familiar with any of the following: discovery products including Microsoft SCCM, BMC Software Asset Management; reconciliation of discovery data in BMC CMDB environment; and integration of discovery solutions with CMDB or a similar industry solution.
§  Knowledge of MS SQL, query-writing, reporting tools (i.e.: Crystal Reports, BIRT, or a similar industry solution) relational databases.
§  Candidates must have excellent organizational, communication, and problem solving skills. Candidates should have proven understanding of IT business needs and knowledge of IT industry standard best practices.
§  Strong presentation development skills using MS-PowerPoint or other visual presentation tools
§  5+ years business analysis experience in a large commercial financial institution
§  A Black Belt certificate in business analysis from an industry accreditation source such as ASQ or IASSC.
Desired Skills:
§  The ideal candidate will hold ITIL Foundation v3.0 certification and have applied knowledge of real-world environments in both the Service Management focus area and have experience implementing a CMDB in a customer environment.
