We are seeking a Sr Help Desk/Systems Support Specialist for a long
-term project with our Austin, Texas based client. This position will be a key part of a long
-term Supports CDR IT Support Teams efforts in providing desktop computer support to CDR Uses and CDR on site contractors. This position must be on
-site 100%
-Remote is not an option. Duties includes:
-Provide users computer desktop support,
-Support government issued mobile phone and tablets including setup and configuration,
-Provide on
-site support for iHub?s systems located in the Austin metro area
-Provide remote support where possible for iHubs located outside of the Austin metro area.
-Install and maintain CDR computer equipment, printers, displays and other devices in accordance with manufacturers guidelines.
-Contact equipment and software service providers as needed in order to support IT technical aspects of the CDR users.
-Assist the CDR team in the rollout of new or improved services such as the implementation of the Recovery AD environment, new Recovery desktop and laptop image, building of new desktop images, roll
-out of patches and updates. Other duties as required.Required Skills
-Minimum of 8 years in hands
-on desktop computer and technical support
-Experience working in a fast
-paced environment with rapidly changing priorities
-Experience troubleshooting issues with PCs and peripherals
-Experience with Active Directory administration
-Experience supporting Office 365 and the MS Office Suite
-Experience troubleshooting basic networking issues a plus
-Experience supporting iPhones and iPads a plus
-Experience with Meraki a plus
-Customer service oriented
-Professional demeanor
-Able to convey technical details in layman?s terms to non
-technical staff
-Strong written and oral communication skills
-Experience working in a matrix management environment
-Able to lift 40 pounds#D
