As part of our ongoing growth here at Smart Pension, we are now looking to hire an IT Support Engineer to look after our London, Poole and Javea offices. Covering a team of approximately 100 people in total, you will be the front-line support for all new starters and existing employees. Overseeing all set-up of new IT equipment, as well as ensuring we have the latest updates installed and that the companys systems remains safeguarded against viruses.

Main responsibilities:
Install and configure IT equipment, software and networks.
Support, troubleshoot and repair IT equipment, software and networks.
Assist setting up new users and help them become familiar with equipment and networks.
Continually assess all users IT needs and requirements.
Ensure that compute equipment is fit for purpose and that users are set up according to Health and Safety at work laws.
Monitor IT security for users and networks and takes appropriate steps to address security breaches if necessary.
Track spending on equipment and software.
Develop and maintain emergency plans to address equipment, power or security failure to ensure preservation of technology and data.
Provide support to our remote offices.

Requirements
Either a degree or an HND. Qualifications related to IT or Computer Science are preferred.
Experience with Computers and Networks.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Interpersonal Communication is a must, you will be dealing with people at all times.
Problem Solving, Decision Making, Critical Thinking.
Attention to Details.
Comfortable working under pressure.
Able to Meet Goals.
